BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
APRIL 20, 1993 4:30 P.M.

OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Worthington
The Committee reviewed the schedule for meetings on the preliminary
budget.
The meetings scheduled for April 13th and 14th were postponed, and
replacement dates of April 29th and May 3rd were set.
Jim Worthington presented a proposal to buy material for installing
sprinkler systems in four small triangular parks. Discussion.
Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Norman Orr to authorize the
purchase of material for the proposed sprinkler systems in the
amount of $2,152.00. Motion carried.
Jim also presented a proposal from HC Construction to build a
10' X 15' block building at the swimming pool to be used as a
chemical storage room to feed liquid chlorine.
Discussion.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Bob Graham to accept the
proposal submitted by HC Construction in the amount of $6,265.00.
Motion carried.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
General Fund
Material for sprinkler systems in 4 small parks $2,152.00
Block addition to swimming pool for chemical room 6,265.00
Replace springs on fire truck tender #2 800.00
55 gallon fire wet water 750.00
34 Wildl.and helmets and goggles 1,074.40
1,000 ft. forester service hose 1,100.00
