A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was t?ken Y
the committee:
It was decided to run some compaction tests on affected roadway
to determine how deep to go to replace the fill with gravel. Harlan
Lund and Larry Peterson will do this and try to come up with a cost
factor; approximately how much gravel and asphalt are needed and
approximately how much labor involved to restore the road. Also, who
will do what and who will furnish what will be decided. The City
finished the job in the spring of 1980. The normal time period for
waiting to see how well the work was done would have been the spring
of 1981-one year later. No complaints reached Harlan-Lund until
sometime in 1983, three years after the job was completed. Are we
sure we are still responsible to completely repair the road?
