PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE

B. Other's present: Bob Frank, - Jim rcber Vern Coberly A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
I. Discussion on commercial septic tank dumpers.
a. Committee recommends.not to allow commercial septic tank dumpers
at the new Sewer Plant. The City will work with dumpers who
are to establish an agriculture dumping system as an alternative.
II. Jim Kaercher.
a. Jim presented a prelimenary draft of the 0 & M Manual.
III. Water Plant Standpipe.
a. There will be an inspection of the standpipe during the week
of September 4th, with Rainbow Painting.
IV. Water Reservoir.
a. As of this meeting, the City Attorney has yet to respond to
K-Decorator's Attorney about the repair work. This needs
immediate attention in order to have this completed before
winter weather.
V. Water Analysis System.
a. Committee recommends HKM be awarded the contract.
VI. Sunhaven Trailer Court.
a. Sunhaven Trailer Court was given permission by Dave Michael
to use a 61, line instead of an 81, line, this was due to the
fact there was a 61, pipe to connect to.
b. Committee recommends Sunhaven's water line placement be accepted;
this is based on both Dave & Larry's advice.
