Members present: Chairman absent Chuck Dickerson , Andy Loebe ,Richard Herr, Bob Kettenring B. Other's present: Chip Watts , A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by the committee: STREET SWEEPER: Good demonstration. Appeared to be a real nice machine. Approximately. $80,000. Ours may cost approximately $15,000 for maintenance over next three years. CHIP WATTS E LAZY Y PARK: Wants to put asphalt in alley and wants to put decorative rock-in boulevards in place of grass. Also wants to put a 21x4' oval sign on the boulevard of 6th Street about. 3' off of ground and 40' west of alley. Committee recommends checking with Larry Peterson for specs on the require- ments, also with Joe Bradley on maintaining the alley, and the ordinance on signs. Will discuss at next Street & Alley meeting. • VILLAGE SUBDIVISION: Discussed putting in 25 mph and radar patrolled signs on same pole at each entrance. Request Council approval. EAST SHANNON ROAD: Mel to discuss at next meeting. STATE HIGHWAY (MAIN-STREET): Recommend keeping an eye on double parking by large trucks. LITTLE BIG MEN: Does City have an alleyway behind Little Big Men? If so, where? SPEED LIMIT SOUTH FIRST AVENUE: Have sign changed to 25 mph from 35 mph because of high traffic. Bob Kettenring will check on possibility of having this done. Special meeting second week of July. Time and place will be decided later.
