The committee will go along with this as the residents were misinformed years ago when curb and gutters were installed on the north side of East Maryland. The committee does not want this deal to set a precedence because of the situation around this problem. After much discussion and figuring the committee recommends to accept Laurel Conoco Bulk's bid for gasoline, diesel and oil as per the bids. A meeting will take place Monday the 17th with a representative of . Barry O'Leary, Jim Worthington, Jim Flisrand, Ernie Davis, Andy-Loebe, and Mel Krug to get the problems ironed out on SID 108. Jim Flisrand reported he is making good progress in getting a working agreement with BN and County on Shannon Road. When we get something concrete, a report will come before the Council. Committee recommends taking the recommendations of the Police Committee on their minutes of the February 7, 1985, meeting on the placement of stop signs. We add a recommendation that copies of this ordinance be printed up and placed at the Laurel Outlook to be given to the people placing ads. The City crew will start taking down garage sale signs that are put up where they are not to be.
