PARK COMMITTEE
DATE June 3,1985 TIME 5 P.M.
PLACE OF MEETING City Hall
A. Members present: Chairman Bill Brennan
Bob Western , Bob Bowers , Ron Faught , Dave Michaels
B. Other's present: Cindy Mecoage v Jan Keller
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
.Swimming Pool ;
We are now cleaning the pool and will start patching and painting weather permitting.
Need to re-key all the locks at the pool.
Dave Michaels is checking on installation of an emergency gate.
Approximately 15 people have expressed an interest in taking Life Saving instruction.
The City will pay $10 apiece towards the purchase of special suite for lifeguards.
I will contact Ray Fiechtner about the purchase of used wall lockers for use in the
lifeguards room.
Riverside Park ;
Two juveniles did over $300 damage to the restrooms.They were. apprehended and
hopefully we will get restitution.
The yellowatone County Sheriffs Dep't.would like to use the range at Riverside
to qualify.They are offering to pay the Rifle Club but there seems to be some
objections from the Rifle C1ub.We will attempt to mediate.
Murray Park ;
Needs some low spots filled in and may require spot re-seeding.
Tennis courts ;
Need to be resurfaced but will probably just be patched this year.
Discussion of an agreement with the High School concerning use of the courts by
a tennis team.
Village Subdivision Park ;
Mostly drain ditch. ???
