A quorum (,4 or more) present the following action was taken by the Committee;
The Committee along with the two co-managers discussed staffing the pool.It is the
recommendation of the Committee that all employees at the pool be certified lif-
guards and rotate working the basket and little pool Jobs.Cindy is qualified to
certify or re-certify lifeguards and will be training as soon as the pool opens.
The City will cover the cost of re-certifying returning lifeguards but beginning
lifeguards must pay thier own expenses.
At this time we don't plan on chasing the pool in the afternoons but will rotate
"break"times of the personell.General swimming will be from 1 P.M. till 7:30 P.M.
From 7:30 till 800 will be adults only.(18 or abler)
Swimming lessons(6 yrs.old and older)will be from 10 till 12.( $10.00)
. Infant swimming lessons(up to 5 yrs.old)will be from 12 till 12:30.
The Committee discussed bike racks lockers for personnel,and an emergency exit
gate.
New rates recommended by the Committee are; City residents- single season $8.50
family season $18.00
Nom residents-single season $12.00
family season $30.00
All users without pass -$1.00 per day
The Laurel Cub Scouts would like to use the pool from 10:30 till 12:30 on June 30
for a swimming party.They will pay all lifeguard coste.Committee recommends approval.
