Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. .Bills approved:
Public Works Department in the amount of $200 for administrative
services.
GEL PROPERTIES ANNEXATION REPORT: Mr. Worthington explained Spruce
Grove. There will be no permanent street improvements (see letter
dated March 29th.from City Engineer). Motion.from Marvin Carter to
recommend approval, seconded by Ken Christian. Passed unanimously.
BOARD MEMBERS:. Discussion on new members for planning board. Motion
from Marvin Carter to advertise openings in city and county jurisdic-
tions in Laurel Outlook and Billings Gazette. Applicants must live
in Laurel or jurisdictional area, seconded by Ken Christian. Passed
unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.

RE: Spruce Grove Subdivision
Tract 1 -A
Dear Eddie.
Due to insufficient public right -of -way along 7th
Street, west of 8th Avenue, no permanent street improvements
will be required at this time. When 7th Street is improved
all adjacent property owners will be required to partici-
pate in the cost.
If an access approach from Tract 1 -A to 7th Street
is necessary, a 24-inch culvert, or its equivalency, will
be required to maintain flow in the existing ditch parallel -
ing 7th Street. General maintenance of the ditch will be
the responsibility of the adjacent property owners.
If you are in agreement with the above conditions
concerning Tract 1 -A of Spruce Grove Subdivision, please
sign below.

RECOMMENDATION TO LAUREL
CITY COUNCIL
GEL Properties annexation report for Tract 1 -A, Amended
Tract 1, C/S No. 2147, Yellowstone County, was reviewed at
a regular meeting of the Laurel- Yellowstone City- County
Planning Board held on May 9, 1985. The Board unanimously
recommends this property to be annexed to the City of Laurel.
