Park COMMITTEE

OTHERS PRESENT :
A quorum ( 3 or more ) present,the following action was taken by the Committee:
Swimming pool ; We are accepting applications for positions of pool manager ,
life wards , and basket people.There will be ads in the Outlook
and applications have been mailed to last year employees.
Authorized purwhase of replacement diving board(8600 budgeted).
South Pond ; Discussed letter from State of Montana regarding liabilities
at South Pond.Recommended allowing non-power boating and ice
skating in season.
Riverside Park; Rifle Club declines allowing Yellowstone Bowmen the use of thier
facilities because of problems in the past.
Someone is still using the area behind the target backstops for
dumping garbage.Recommended installation of a substantial gate
and "No Dumping" signs.Will check with the county to see if they
will haul off car bodies in tbis area.We would like to get this
area cleaned up and leveled out.
Murray Park ; Check on grass seeding dine last year to see if it survived.
Discussed tennis courts at this park. ? 0V
Tennis Courts ; Need resurfacing.Will check budget.
Unity Garden Club wishes to make some kind of contribution to parks.
Suggestions ; Basketball courts at Murray Park.
Morse shoe pits at Kiwanas Park.
Plants at new Legion Ballfield.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
