in and for School District No. 2 on the 6th day of August, 1908, and the Special Ele'c
held in the Village of Laurel on the 3rd day of August, 1908; due public notice of.t2
meeting having been given, as required by lar. !i
Thee were present, Chairman C. H. Newman, Commissioners M. W. Cramer, Gw.ei
Burla, and Clerk, Ira L. Whitney.
The minutes of the last meeting of the Board of Equalization were read and,;
The full Board and the Clerk, acting as a Board of canvassers, proceeded 'ti
canvass the returns of the Special Election held in and for School District No. 21...a4
found from said returns the following results:

In the matter of the $35,000 Fond Proposition, it appearing that 83 vo•tes�ry
cast for said proposition and 8 votes were cast against said, proposition .the Board:'

motion declared said proposition duly carried.
Laurel Special Election.
The full Board and the Clerk, acting as a Board of canvassers, proceeded to
canvass the retir no of the Special Election held in the Village of Laurel or.. the 3rd.1
day of August, 1908, for the purpose of.voting-'.on'the'question of incorporating said;s
village into a town, and found from said returns the following results:
For incorporation 98 votes
Against incorporation No votes.
It appearing that a majority of -the votes cast were "For Incorporation",.th
Board declared said question duly carried and said Village of Laurel duly incorporate
! to the "Town of Laurel".
