Meeting called to order at 1900 by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were Don Schlegelmilch,Bob Western,and Bill Brennan
Guests present wereBob Redding,Craig Canfield,Randy Pfiefle,plus one.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
Bills were presented and approved.
Craig Canfield reported that he met with the F.A.A.to discuss crosswind runway
alternatives.Cultural Resource and Wetlands study are underway.Met with Laurel City
council concerning the Airport Affected Area ordinance.They suggested we meet with
City/County Planning Board.
Someone in the east end of the 'new hangar area"requested "3 phase"power to his
area.Yellowstone Valley Electric estimated it would cost between $40,000 to $50,000 to
install.It wqas stated that if this is a commercial business making the request they pay for
it themselves.
Discussed Mt.C.A.A. Meeting in Billings on March 6.Everyone wqas encouraged to
attend.
Discussed the new budget.We need to budget for sending delegates to official meetings.
Auction by the bank of the former Big Sky Aircraft building didn't attract any buyers so
the bank retains the structure
Had a long discussion of training Authority members if and when we have to replace our
Chairman.
Meeting adjourned at 2015.
