Laurel, Montana, November 9th, 1915.
The City Ccuncil met in special session at the Council Chambers
of the City Hall at eight o'clock P.14.
Meeting called tc order by Mayor Stripp.
Present Alderman, Laird, Davis, Hcren and Hageter.
Minutes cf last meetin- read and Ipprcved cn mcticn duly made,
seconded and carried.
Fater Commissioner's Report fcr the mc.nth cf Octcber was read
and approved as read.
Pclice Judge's Report fcr the month cf Octcber was read and
approved as read.
Repert of the Chief cf Police for the mcnth cf October was read
and approved as read.
Treasurer's repert for the month cf October was read and
referred back for correction.
Repert cn committee tc investigate sidewalks h�iilt by "".c Laughlin
& O'Neil was read and approved as read
Communication from Industrial Accident Board read and referred
to clerk tc mn_ke repert.
Communication from '"'old-Yassner Co., relative tc Stc rm warrant
for 12.00 read. The matter was referred tc the deputy cl=rk to
inquire cf Bundy what guarantee he made tc Ttld-IKassner Co.
A motion was duly made, seconded and carried that warrant to
State Treasure be drawn fcr 50.00 to pay State Examiner's fee.
Cramer letter read and referred tc clerk.
Communication from County Tr asurer relative to poll tax collected
from parties outside of Laurel referred tc the City Treasurer tcmake
adjustments.
Notice of City Taxes referred tc. City T'reasurer.
Final Estimate cf McLaughlin & O'Neil on sidewalks allowed
and warrants ordere.l issued for full amount.
A mcticn was duly made, seconded and carried that the Treasurer
and Clerk be appointed a committee tc estimate what NcLaughlin & O'Neil
owe the city and water user fcr water and the city fcr hese used and not
returned and that they be hereby directed tc withheld delivery cf cne
of the warrants ordered is:.ued until said account is paid and until
iron gratings are put in at ccrssings.
New Business.
Resignation cf Baker Yarbrough as Street Commissioner read. On motion
duly made, seconded and carried, resignation was accepted.
Estimates on sewer districts submitted by Shipman cn District's No.
12, 13 and 14, read. On mcticn duly made, seconded and carried, the
Minutes of the city council of Laurel
estimates were accepted and bends ordered issued as shown by estimate.
Mayer appointed O.C.Bundy as Street Commissioner, which was ar,,prcved
by the Council.
