Laurel, Montana, Oct. 5th, 1915.
The City Council met in regular session at the Council Chamber
of the City Hall1 at eight o'cicck P.M.
Meeting called to order by Mayor.
Present, Aldermen, Laird, Davis, Jacobs and Hcren.
The -Mayor appointed Davis in place of Hanner, and Hcren in
place of Hageter cn auditing committee.
Minutes of l,.st meeting read and apprcved as read.
Sewer committee reported cn sewer beds.
The report cf the Tater Commissicner for the month of September
was read and approved as read.
Report of committee showed about $100 more in State Bank than
in Citizens Bank, but that the balances vary from time tc time.
A motion was duly made, seconded and carried that the clerk be
instructed to i}trite tc James N. 'right & Cc., stating that Laurel
will do her cwn legal work.
Resolution Nc. 101, relating tc levying and assessing taxes for
the payment.of warrants issued against Special Sprinkling Improvement
District No. 1 of the City of Laurel was reread. A motion was duly
made, seconded and carried that the said resolution be finally
passed as prc.visionally passed. Upon roll call the vcte stccd as
follows;
Ayes;- Laird, Davis, Jacobs and Hcren.
Nces;- None.
Absent;- Hanner and Hageter.
Final estimate on sidewalks read. On motion duly made, seconded
and carried, the matter was referred tc committee and engineer to
procure deduction for the reason that sidewalk was not trcwl finished
and marked.

Motion that drop in sewer,frcnt of Hcren's to take cff surface
water be installed. by city, seconded and carried.
The fcllcwing bills were read and warrants drawn on the respective
funds;

Motion seconded and carried that O.H.Bundy bill be allowed for
salary.
A motion was .duly made, seccnd.ed and carried that the C.P.Li_llis
bill be disallcwec.
On Pft.ticn duly made, seconded and carried, the Whitney bill was
tabled for future investigation.
On mcti.cn duly made seconded and carried, the Storm bill was
referred. back to the Chief' cf Police t: have the work completed.
The mayor appointed water sewer and power committee to act in
conjunction with the water commissic:ner and city attorney in drawing
new water rates.
The mayor appcinted O.C.Bundy stroet ccmrissicner during the absence
of Baker Yarbrcugh.
Adjourned on motion duly made, seconded and carried.
