Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
May 25th, 1915.
The City Obuncil met in special session at Calder's office
at 8 o'clock P.M. pursuant to section 7 of Resolution No. 88
Section 7 Resolution No. 89 and Section 7 Resolution No.90.
=y Meeting called to order by acting mayor..
Present Aldermen Laird,Haggeter Horen Hannar and Davis.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved on motion duly
made and seconed and carried.
Mannar chairman of the water committee reported to the
Council that he investigated the conditbon of the water tank both
inside and out found the salve to be all right.
Resolution 88 was read there, being no protests filed with
the city clerk against the creation of this district and the
passage of said resolution a motion was made and seconded that
Resolution No. 88 be finally ;gassed and approved as read. Upon
roll call the vote stood as follows
Ayes --Laird, Haggeter, Horen, Hannar, Davis.
Nos-- None
Absent --None.
Resolution 89 was read relating to Special I mprovement
District No. 13 there were filed the following protests: against
the proposed work and the creation of said district:
F. G. Neville Lots 15,16, and 17 in block 1 of the
Laurel Heights Subdivision.
Chas. King Estate, Lots 6 and 7 block 10 East Laurel.
The foregoing being the only protests registered with the city clerk
and more than fifteen days have elapsed since the date of the first
publication of the notice of the passage of said resolution of
intention and the said protectants not being the owners of the majority
of the property fronting on the proposed work and being the owners
of less than one half of the area of the property to be assessed for
said improvements it was regularly moved that the said protests
be overruled and denied and., -that Resolution No. 89 as provisionally
passed and published be finally passed and adppted. Upon roll call
the vote stood as follows:
Ayes --Laird, Haggete , Horen, Hannar, Davis.
Nos --None.
Absent --None.

Resolution No. 90 relating to Special Improvement District
No. 14 was read there were presented the following protests against
the proposed work and the creation of said district.

Ordinance NO 119 realting to Special Improvement District No
12 was read.A motion was duly amde and seconded that the said
Ordinance passed and approved .
Upon roll call the vote stood as follows;
Ayes- Laird,Horen,Hagerter,Hanr_er,and Davis.
Nos -None
Absent -None.
Ordinaance NO 120 relating to Special Improvement Disrrict NO
13 was read. A motion was duly made and seconded Ghat the said
Ordinance be passed and approved.
Upon roll call the vote stood as f oll ows;
Ayes Laird,Horen,Hagprter,Hanner and Davis.
Nos - None
Absent - Nbne .
Ordinance NO 121 relating to Special Improvement District NO
14 was read. A motion was duly made and seconded that the said
Ordinance be passed and approved .
Upon roll call the vote tsood as follows-,
Ayes - Laird, Horen,Hagerter,Hamer and Davlts.
Nos - None
Absent - None.
Resolution NO 9�4relating to Special Ipprovement District NO
16 was read . A motion was duly made and seconded that said.Resolu-
tion be provissionally passed .
Upon roll call the vote stood as f of l ows;

Nos - None.
Absent - None
Resolution NO 92 relating to the creation of Special Improve-
ment Disrtiet NO 17 was read. A Motion was duly made and seconded
that the said resolution he provi ss i ona l ly passed and approved.
Upon roll call the vote stood as follows;
Ayes - Laird,Horen,Hagerter,Hanner and Davis.
Nos - None.
Absent - None.
The followinf Bonds of the officials of the City were read an d
approved on motion duly made,se:onded and carried.

Communication from the Borad of Underwriters was read and refered
to the Water -Power and Swere Committee.
Minutes of the city Council of Laurel
On Totion duly made and seconded and carried the Clerk was
instructed to notify the Balton Adding Machine Company that they
decoded not to purchase the machine add that it was hee waiting
their disposition.
Adjourned on motion duly made seconded and carried.
