City Council met in regular session at the Council chambers at 8
o'clock P.M.
Meeting called to order by the Mayor.
,Present aldermen Laird,Davis,Horen,J<<cobs,Hanner and Hagerter.
Minutes cf last meeting read and approved on motion duly made
seconded and carried.
d-ommittee appointed to investigate the Settergren Horse pro-
position filed their report with the clerk which wns read and a
motion was duly made,seconded and carried that Mr Slettergren be
tendered One Firndred Dollars,,together with the discount added
thereto.as a settlement for his horseIf the -same be accepted
by him that he file two or mora affidavitts showing that the
horse in question Vras the property of Mr Settlergrens.
Water -Power & Sewer Committee recommended the installation o f
another ptirnp and motor of Fifty horse power and that the City Engin-
a,r�r furnish specifications and an estimated cost of the Pi.-zrch,�se
and instq"Iration of the cLmo.
Om motion duly mad�--.,secondcd and carried was in.-tructed to
have the City Enginenr to furnish plans and specifications and
the estimated cost of the purchu-se and. the installation of the
fifty horse power potor and another pump at the pumpin,,,, station.
P-jayor appointed the Water -Baser & 111o,.;Tcr Co.mmiitee tr invest -d-
: -.-ate the condition of the wateradd if they deem it advisable to
have the same cleaded and repaired.

motion was duly rriad(:,sco.onrled a_-nd carried that the bond be approv-
ed as read a d -placed on file.
Final estimate or, :"pedal Improvement District Noll was read.
A motion di-ily mado,sreconded and carried that the estimate by
approved and acceptedupon the report and recommendation of the
water-se;.,er & power committe the clerk 'i-iill issiifT) _arc. deliver the
bonds for payment of the same.

On motion duly mad^,seconded and carried a refund was authorized to
Mrs M..A.tracey for an over charge on the license issued her for conduc-
ting a confectionary store.
Resolution NO 88 relating to the construction of a sewer in T4"Iurel
Rea, ty Subdivision was read. A motion was dull made and seconded that
said resolution be provissiorial_' y passed ward approved. Upon roll call
the vote stood as f oll_wos ;

Absent; None.
Resolution NO 89 relating to the construction of a sewer along
Second Avenue was read. A motion wa.s duly made and seconded that said
resolution be provissionally passed and approved.Upon ro'_1 call the vote
stood as fo' l ows :

and elected 'resident of the Council.
