Laurel, Mont., February, 291,h,1916.
The City Ccuncil 'r? --t in special session pur.;uant to a call from
the Mayor for the purpose of general business, at the City Hall
at 8:00 o'clock
The meeting was called tc c rder by Pill ivc r Stripp.
There were present aldermen Hageter, Hcren, Davis, and Hanner.
The minutes cf lest meeting were; read and apprcved as read.
The water ccmmissicners report for the rrjonths, cf January
and 7ebruary, 1916, was read and approved as read.
The committee reperted favorably cn the Seeley Lumber Company
bill,
The clerk was instructed to notify the bendingcompany to
release the IlcLaug-hlin & 0'111eil bond, providing McLaughlin &
O'Neill settled the account presented to the City by the Rensselaer
Valve Ca. for the broken parts of a hydrant.
A mcticn was duly made, secc.•nded and carried that the
clekk be instructed tc advertise for bids for the tapping cf
the Laurel w=Iter mains covering the period of cne year frcm the
date df the contract.
The Maycr appointed Hcren, Davis -ind :wird as ccm,,ittee
on L+brary to confer with the Commercial Chamber and the ?'rmgn's
Club and report at the the next regular meeting cf the Ccuncil.
Adjourned on mc:ticn duly made, seconded and carried.
City Clerk.
