The City Council met in regular session at the Council Chambers of the City Hall at eight o'clock P.M. The meeting was called to order by Naycr Stripp. There were present, aldermen, Laird, Jaccbs, Hcren, Hanner, H?goter and Davis. The Repert of the City Treasurer for the month ending January 31st, 1916, was read and approved as read. The Report of the ';Mater Commissioner was read and tabled for future investigation. The Report ©f.-thb Police Judge for the month of January was read, and upon mctic.n duly made, seconded and carried, same was tabled until duplicate receipts are furnished. The minutes of the last mcetin` were read and ar;:rcvec as read. Communication from C.E.Shipman in regard tc listing the large pump for sale was read and ordered placed on file. The Clerk was instructed, upon mctic-n duly made, seconded and carried, to write tc P"r. >hipman, to have him request the "'crthingtcn Company to list the large pump for sale, as per their offer. The Clerk was instructed tc direct ivir. Shipman to complete the tracings of water mains in Gernamtown in blue print. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried, that the clerk serve notice on the business houses c.f Laurel that hereafter all bibs presented against the City must me accompanied by requisition signed by the chairman= cf the - roper cc: � mittee, or th(eir bill will not be allowed. The fcllc.wing bills were allowed, and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, warrants were c.rdered drawn up( -.n the treasurer for the amount cf each on the fund named.
