Laurel, 1:iontana, December 18th, 1917.
The City Council met in regular session at the
Council Chamber in the "'Ity Hall at 8 o'clock A
,he meeting was called to order by the xaaror.
The follwwing aldermen were present; j.)avis, .ty an
.-Price and JJamb.
Letition asking for the removal of the debris
remaining after the recent fire on jot 5 nlock 1 of the
Laurel ,ea.lty subdivision to the townsite of 'ast j,aurel,
read and upon motiom, made, seconded and carried the „hien
of -Lolice was instructed enforce the ordinance.
.he committee retorting upon the petition to
have the .,hien of police, ,uinn removed from office,
recommended that the petition be given no cosideration.
j�iotion made, seconded and carried that the action
of the committee be adapted as read.
i.otion made, seconded and carried that .,cuauley
and spencer be instructed to clean up the street in
front of their building now being constructed.
Iiotion made, seconded and carried that the surety
bonds of -uittlepage c,, j-,urla and Frank -
V,right be approved
and the .,lerk notify said firms of the action taken.
