The Cite Council met in regular session at th
Council Chamber in the City Hall at S o'clock. P. IT.
Iieeting called to order by the I-layor
The follo,77ing Aldermen v, -,ere present; Lamb,
Dix, Davis, Ryan.
ITinutes of the last rrteeting read and app-
roved.
City Treasurer's reports for August and_`Sept
read and accepted on :motion made, seconded and carried.
Chief of Police and Police Judge's reports
for "epterrber read and accepted on motion duly made,
seconded and aarried.
Potion made, seconded and carried that that
drain crest of Laurel be repaired.
Report of -Aldermen Price and Dix on light
neer Ge-rmantommi continued.
Affidavit of Fred Allen assigning all his
right, title and interest in and to the Bonds or the
proceeds thereof, issued or to beissued in payment of
the sidewalfs he constructed iijider his contract with
the City of Laurel, read and on 'notion duly made,
seconded and carried iraas ordered tabled.
Eotion made seconded, and carried that City
Engineer be instructed to draw up plans for extending;
intake pipe farther int6 the river.
Motion made, seconded arid. carried that "later
service be stopped on all those who are delinquent
Oct. l5th.1917.
