Laurel, Montana, September 25th 1917
The City Council met in adjourned session at the
Council Chamber in the City Hall at 81oclock P. M.
Meeting called to order by the Mayor.
The following Aldermen were present; Ryan,
Price, Hannar, Lamb.
Minutes of the last hhree meetings read and
approved.
Ordinance #, 151 setting forth cost and expense of
making improvements in Special Improvement District =422
introduced and read.
Motion made by Hannar and seconded by Ryan that
Ordinance #151 as read be passed and adapted. Upon
roll call the vote stood as follows;
«ye; Lamb, Prise, Ryan, Hannar.
Nay; None.
Absent; Dix, Davis.
Ordinaned 4152 setting forth cost and expense of
making improvements in Special Improvement District'
introduced and read.
Motion made by price and seconded by Hannar that ;
Ordinance #152 as read be passed and adapted. Upon
roll call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, Price, Ryan, Hannar.
Nay; None
Absent; Dix, .Davis.
Ordinance ;153 setting forth cost and expense of
making improvements in Special Improvement District
introduced and read.
T'otion made by Lamb and seconded by Ryan that
Ordinance 4153 as read be passed and adapted. Upon
roll call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, mise, Ryan, Hannar.

Absent; Dix, Davis.
Estimate from City Engineer for building concrete
walks and curbs in Special Improvement District #24 read
Nation made by Hannar and seconded by Ryan that the
City Engineers estimate in Special Improvement District
,`' 24 be approved and adapted as read. Upon roll call the
vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, Price, Ryan, Hannar.
Nay; T. one
Absent; Dix, Davis.
Estimate from City Engineer for building concrete
walks and curbs in Special Improvement District ;22 read.
I -lotion amde by Lamb abd seconded by Price that the
City engineers estimate in Special Improvement District
422 be approved and adapted as read. Upon roll call the
vote stood as follows;
Aye; Price, Iamb, Ryan, Hannar
Nay; None
Absent; Dix, Davis.

Totion made by Price and seconded by Lamb that the
City Engineers estimate in Special Improvement '),istrict
X20 be approved and adapted as read. Upon roll tali the
vote stood as follows;

Absent; Dix, Davis.
Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Motion made by Ryan and seconded by 'Hannar that
Bonds be issued in payment of the improvements made in
Special Improvement: -Districts numbered 20, 22 and 24
and the delivery of same be held until repair work was
completed to the satisfaction of the.City Engineer.
Upon roll call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, 7"rice, Ryan, Hannar.
Pay; None.
Absent; Dix, Davis.
Resolution 1-132 levying and assessing taxes for
the payment of Bonds issued against Special Improvement
District 1-24 for the payment of improvements therein
was introduced and read.
Hotion made by Lamb and seconded by Price to
provisionally pass Resolution 132 as read. Upon roll
call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, Price, Ryan, Hannar.
Bay; None
Absent; Dix, Davis.
Resolution �-1 :33 levying and assessing taxes for
the payment.,laf Ponds issued against Special improvement
District for the payment of improvements therein
was introduced and read.
Motion made by Hannar and seconded by Ryan to
provisionally pass Resolution ;133 as read. Upon roll
call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, Price, Ryan, Hannar.
Nay; done.
Absent; Dix, Davis.
Resolution x'134 levying and assessing taxes for
the payment of Bonds issued against Special Improvement
District iilfffor the payment of improvements therein
was intrdduced and read.
Motion made by Price and seconded by Lamb to
provisionally pass Resolution #134 as read. Upon roll
call the vote stood as follows;
Aye; Lamb, Price, Ryan, Hannar.
Nay; None.
,absent; Dix, Davis.
Motion made, seconded and carried that Fred Allen
be required to furnish the City 0f Laurel an affidavit-.
that all claims for labor and material have been paid
by him.
11otion made, seconded and carried that Hannar be
authorized to repair roof and floor of City Hall building.
