The City Council met in regular session at the Council Char hers in the City Hall at eight o'clock P. Y. Yeeting ca' led to order by the Yayor. The following Alderman vrere present: Dix, Lamb, Price, Ryan,. Minutes of previous meeting read and. approved. Reports of the Chief of Police and Police Judge read and approved. Communication from the Citizens National Bank in regard to assignment of Special Impro,*enent Bonds read and ordered filed. Resolution No. 131 leveyirg and assessing taxes for the pay- ment of warrants issued against special sprinkling improvement district #1 of the City of Laurel, Yontana. for the payment for improvements therein, was introduced and .-3ad. A motion was made by Ryan and seconded by Lamb that resolution #131 as read be finally passed. Upon roll call the vote stood as follows: Aye: Lamb, Price, Ryan and Dix. Nay: None. Absent: Hannar and Davis. Whereupon Resolution No. 131 was declared adopted and was approved by the Pv"ayor, attested by the Clerk; and the seal of the City attached. City Engineers fi ral estimate of work completed in Special Improvement District #25 was read and approved on motion made, secon:i ed and carried. Alderman Lamb reported that one cross walk and one and half blocks of Sidewalk was needed in Ger-mantown. On motion the matter was referred to the Fng-ineer and City Attorney. Plans, specifications and proposal for construction of new intake to water supply system for Laurel, Yontana, was read. A motion lyras made by Dix, seconded by Ryan, that the plans, S -if_ is tiors and proposal, as read be passed and approved. Upor: roll call the vote stood as follows: Aye: Lamb, Price, Ryan and Dix. Nay: None. Absent: Hannar and Davis. Carried. The Yayor appointed Alden -men Price and Dix, a cominittee to investigate the matter of placing a light near the railroad crossing to Germanto,,rn. Resignatio sof H. B. Shields read and accepted on motion. The Yayor appointed Geo. R. Alden, City Clerk, which appoi.ntr,ent was confirmed by the Council on motion, made seconded and carried.
