Laurel, Montana,- July 6th, 1917.
The City Council met in special session at the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 5 o t clo ck P. M.
Meeting called order by the Mayor.
The following Alderman were present: Lamb, Price, Dix,
Davis, Ryan and Hannar.
Petition from J. Zywert asking permission to move the
Owl Cafe building from its present location to Lot 9 of
Block 2 of the Laurel Realty Subdivision was read.
A motion was made by Hannar and seconded by Ryan that
J. Zywert be granted permission to move the building now known
as the Owl Cafe to Lot 9 in Block 2 of the Laurel Realty Sub-
division to the Townsite of East T'aurel, provided, however,
that the building is moved to said location within=days.
On roll call the vote stood as follows:
Yes: Dix, Hannar, Davis, Ryan.
No. Lamb and Price.
Absent: None.
The Mayor appointed Aldermen Lamb, Dix and Davis as a
Committee to investigate the building permit regtaested by
Dr. McCauley.
On motion meeting adjourned.
