LAUREL, MONTANA - JULY 3rd, 1917.
The City Council met in regular session at the Council Chambers
in the City Hall at eight o'clock, p. m.
Meeting called to order by the Mayor.
The following Alderman were present: Ryan, Dix, Hannar, Lamb.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Reports of the Treasurer, Chief of Police and Police Judge
were read and approved on motion made, seconded and carried.
Communication from Geo. A. Coy in regard to condition of Fire
Department was read.
On supported motion the Water Commissioner was instructed to
purchase necessary equipment of the Fire Department.
The Mayor appointed Geo. A. Coy, Fire Chief, which appointment
was confirmed by the Council.
The Clerk was instructed to call Special Meeting on Friday,
July 6th, 1917 at five o'clock P. M. in the Council Chambers for
the purpose of finally deciding on the Zywert petition.
