Laurel, Montana, - April 17th, 1917.
The Council meet in regular session at the Council Chambers Or

of the City Hall at eight o'clock, P.M.
Meeting called to order by the Yayor.
The following Alderman were present:- Lamb, Horen, Davis,
Dix., Fx Jacobs.
Yinutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Ira Ballard was appointed in Neal Corson's place to serve
as Judge in the Third Ward for the Special Election to beheld
April 23, 1917.
Communication from 0. Miller read and ordered filed.
Ordinance No. 7.41 fixing the compensation of the officers
of the City of Laurel, eras introduced and. read.
A motion was made by 1 ,01K.e rr and seconded by Davis that
ordinance No. 141 as read be passed and adopted. Upon roll call
the vote stood. as fallews:
Aye: Horen, Davis, Dix, Jacobs.
Nay: Lamb.
Absent: Hanner.
Whereupon ordinance No. 141 was declared adopted and Y�rtas
approved by the Mayor, attested by the Clerk, and the seal of the
,City attached. "
Resolution No. 108,being a Resolution of intention to create
Special Improvement District No. 19 of the City of Laurel, Montana,
designating the nunber of said district, describing the boundaries
thereof, stating the general character of the improvements to be
rade therein and an approximate estimate of the cost thereof, was
introduced and read.
A motion was made by Davis and seconded by Dix that Resolution
`?o. 108 as read be passed and adopted. Upon roll call the vote stood
as follows:
Aye: Lamb, Horen, Davis, Dix anO Jacobs.
e Nay: None
Absent: Hanner.
Whereupon resolution No .108 was decalred adopts c'. a.nd was
approved by the Irayor, attested by the Clerk, and the seal of the
City attached.
Resolution No. 109 being a Resolution of intention to create
Special Improvement District No. 20 of the City of Laurel, Nontana,�;
designating the number of said district, describing the boundaries
thereof, stating the general character of the improvements to be
made therein and an approximate estimate of the cost thereof, was Fr;
introduced and read. �
A motion was made by Horen and seconded by Lamb that Resolution
No. 109 as read be passed and adopted. Upon roll call the vote stood`
as follows:
Aye: Lamb, Horen, Davis, Dix and Jacobs.
Nay: None
Absent: Hanner.
Thereupon resolution No. 109 was declared adopted and was
approved by the Mayor, attested by the Clerk, and. the seal of the
City attached.
Resolution No. 113, being a resolution of intention to create
Special Improvement District No. 21 of the City of Laurel, Yontana,
designating the nur„ber of said district, describing the boundaries
thereof, stating the general character of the irprove-.ments to be
made therein and an approximate estimate of the cost thereof, was
intvoducedwnd read.
A motion was mede by Jacobs and seconded by Davis that Resolut-iolq
No. 113 as read be passed and. adopted. Upon roll call the vote stood
as follows:
Aye: Lamb, Horen, Davis, Dix and Jacobs.
Nay: None
Absent: Hanner.
Whereupon resolution No. 113 was declared adopted and was
approved by the Mayor, attested by the Clerk, and the seal of the
Cita- attached.

Resolution No. 114, being a Resolution of intention to create
Special Improvement District No. 22 of the City of Laurel, Yontana,
designating the number of said district, describing the boundaries
thereof, statin; the general character of the improvements to be
made therein and an approximate estimate of the cost thereof, was
introduced a,rcl read .
A motion was made by Dix and seconded. by Jacobs that resolution
Yo. 114 as read be passed and adopted. Upon, roll call the vote stood
as follows:
Aye: Lamb, Horen, Davis, Dix an(' Jacobs.
Nay: None
Absent: Hanner.
':Whereupon resoluti�)r: No. 114 was declared adopted and was
approved by the Yayor, attested by the Clerk, and the seal of the
City attached.
Resolution No. 122, being a Resolution of intention to create
Special Improvement District No. 24 of the City of Laurel, Montana,
designating the number of said district, describing the boundaries
thereof, stating the general character of the improvements to be
made therein and an approximate estimate of the costtherefor, was
introduced and read.
A motion was made by Davis and seconded by Lamb that resolution
No. 122 as read be paused and adopted. Upon roll call the vote stood
as follows:
Aye: Lamb, Horen, Davis, Dix Pnd. Jacobs.
Nay: No n e
Absent: Hanner.
Whereupon resolution No. 122 was declared adopted and was
approved by the Mayor, attested by the Clerk, and the seal of the
City attached.
Meeting adjourned upon motion duly made, seconded and carried.
