The City Council meet in regular session at the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 8 o'clock P.M. Meeting; called to order by Mayor Laird. The following Alderman were present; Lamb, Dix, Hanner, Horen, Davis and Jacobs. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Chief of Police reports relating; to arrests and Vieals furnished were and approved upon motion duly made, seconded and carrier!. Report of the Police Judge for the minth of January 1917 was read and accepted on rotion duly made, seconded and carried. Treasurer's report to Dec. 31, 1916 was read and accept cr'. or rrontion duly :made, seconded and carried.. Communication f ror, National Park Bank of Livingston: concerning warrant No. 2883 wvs read and Cle3tk instructed to write bank and explain this matter. Letter from National Meter Co. read and ordered tabled until next meeting. Two letters from the Montana Muniepal League were read and ordered tabled. Chief of Police bond in the amount of $2000.00 was approved and ordered filed on motion duly made, seconded and carried. Motion made, seconded, and carried that B. C. Lillis bill in the amount of $444.90 for engineering services in connection with the proposed paving of Main Street be alliwed. and warrant drawn on Street Fund in payment of same.
