The City Council met in regular session at the City hall and -as called to order by the Ylayor at u o'clock P.1 -I. The following; Alderman were present, Davis, Price, Ahlstrom, Alden and Gill. The minutes of the last meetint we. -f: read. motiom was duly made seconded that they be approved as read. Reports of Police Judge and Chief of Police were read, a motion wus duly made seconded and carried that the reports be adopted as ee.zd , The bill of the Dalton Adding; 111-achine Co -hic'h_ was referred to the City Treasurer at the last meeting was taker. up, the treasueer having reccommended that it be pasOX/ a. motion was duly made seconded and carried that his repoommenda.tion bei adopted, and the bil was ordered paid. Ordinance No. 162, being an ordinance fixing the salaries of the several Cit,y Officers •ia.s read, a motion was duly made and secon- ded that same be adopted as r -ad, a. roll call resulted as follows - Yes Price, Gill, Davis, Alden and Ahlstrom. Iq0 None Absent Sande The ordinance was declared passed as read. A motion was duly made seconded and carried that the City Clerk send a registered letter to the agent of the new Zyvgert building relative to the chimney on said buildinV, which is defective.
