The Cit; Council of the City of Laurel, :ontana met in rPg,alar session, and was called to order by the "ayor at tree following Aldermen being present; Price Ahlstrom, Alden and Sande. Tne minutes of the la^t regular meeting and of a special mem meeting htld on June 2oth were read and on motion duly made sec. and carried were accepted as reid. The reports of the Police Judge and the Chief of Police were presented and read, and on motion duly made segonded and carried were accented as read. The standing committe^ on ordinance made the following rec commendation in the matter of the Garage liserce referred to them at the last regular meFting ; "Treat all places storing and repair img automobiles be assessed for license the same as other places of business, and that no licence tax be collected -from privately owned cars or livery cars. On motion duly made seconded and carried the above report of the ord:haance committee was adopted. A communication from the '.S.Nott Co. relative to the con dition of the tank for our chenical -'ire engine was read, and t_e matter Rras referred to the Clerk and Citjt Attorney to ascertain if nescessary to maintain that class of equipment at this place i and to gath r information r-lative to the purchas of a ne- one if need be. The matter of creating Special Improvement District 'Yo. 1, � 25 was talen up, there being no protests entered , a resolution,.,c creating said District was read, a motion vias duly made and sec@ onded to adopt said resolution as read, Roll Call Yes- Price, Ahlstrom, Alden and Sande.
