Laurel, Montana, May 20th, 1.919.
The City Council met in regular session in the Council Cham-
ber in the City hall Building and was called to order at 8 o'clock P.
M. by Mayor Davis.
The following alderman were present , Sande, Norris, Ahlstrom,
Kenyon and Gill, being a majority.
The minutes of the last regular meeting and the adjourned reg-
ular meeting held May 9th, were read, and after corrections were mads
a motion was duly made seconded and carried that they be approved as
corrected.
This being the time and place for opening bids for street s0_0
sprinkling the clerk proceeded to open the bids which were as follows
Geo. Davis $8.001per day, or in ratio thereof for parts of days, and
Isaac Platz , 872 cents per four or $7.00 per day. a motion was duly
made seconded and carried that the contract be awarded the lowest
bidder and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to enter into con-
tract with him.
Resolution No. 160 a resolution creating Special Improvement
District No 30 was presented and read and on motion by alderrna.n
Sande seconded by alderman Ahlstrom, a vote being taken thereon
the resolution was unanimously adopted.
The terms under 1,,ihich the lots in the Nor. Pac. addition are
to be Sold wrerrread and on motion by Aiorris seconded by Ahlstrom
a vote being taken thereon the same 1,rere unanimously adopted.
A motion by Kenyon seconded by Yorris that the Mayor and City C
Clerk be authorized to sell the 10 lots in block No. 1 of the Nor.
Pac. addition, for 1/3 off from the price at tihich they �krere appraised
this offer to hold for a period of 60 days.

The matter of an irrigation ditch which was reported to have
been constructed in the street in South Laurel was ta?:en upr_ same
was referred to the Street and alley committee.
A motion was made by Kenyon seconded by Morris that the Mayor,
appoint a plumbing inspector. Reese Price was aopointed terporarily•
adjourn. A motion was duly made seconded and carried that we do now
