Laurel, Mont. Apr. 14th, 1919.
The City Council met in pursuance to the Statue for the purpos
of canvassing the election returns of the City election held on
the 7th day of April 1919.
The Clerk was instructed to open the returns of the City,`
election held on the 7th, day of April, for the purpose of
electing a Mayor, a City Treasurer, a police judge and an alderman
in each of the three wards. After hating canvassed said returns
the following was found to be a true and correct return.

Mayor Chas. Davis received 38 votes
C.B.Martin " 10 "
C.J.Miller of 1 "
Treasurer G.E.Settergren received 53 votes
Police Judge E.L.Fenton " 49 "

H.D.Kenyon " 14 "
Alderman Third Ward
C.L.Morris " 23 "
A motion was duly made seconded and carried that Chas. Davis be
declared elected Mayor, G.E.Settergren be declared elected City
Treasurer, E .L.Fenton be declared elected Police Judge, Wm. Gill
be declared elected alderman of the First Ward, H.D.Kenyon be
declared elected alderman of the Second Ward and C.L.Morris be
declared elected alderman of the Third Ward, and that the Clerk be
instructed to issue certificates of election to the above named

persons.
A motion was duly made seconded and carried that we do now
adjourn.
