Aldermen present were; Morris, vordahl, brohough, Knudsen, hageman, Sausman and .6undy. It was moved and seconded that the rearing of the minutes of the two -oreceeding meetings be deferred until the adjourned meeting of June 22nd. :lot-ion carried. The committee reported, that they had no report to make and asked to be continued. Moved, seconded and carried that the committee be continued. °; ° ° + The Committee appointed to investigate the comp- laint of B. C. Gates, relative to the location of the ?? a? Hydrant, in front of his building reported recommending CO- CO- -1 0 that said hydrant be moved to a place in front of the U City Hall, to be designated by the City gineer. Calder be allowed rq 950,00 per month for such item. iv?iotion carried. •? 4 ° U ri +a ,Q Estimate ivo. 3, on Special Improvement District ivo. 38, was submitted by T. A. nigney, City Engineer, the amount of said estimate being X573.85. It was moved and ° .riH ?' ri seconded that the estimate be allowed and the Clerk be instructed to issue bonds to cover the same. %iotion o • +? c carried. The Mayor appointed the already a Q) a, 03 existing Pinance and purchasing committee. 0 r Q 02 The Mayor brought up for discussion the question of inffrcement of the curfew ordinance. 1vir. Calder Suggested that the matter stand as at present until the nest meeting and that he would report the status of the ordinances, to the council. iio motion offered. Minutes of the City Council of Laurel Lr. Settergren, City treasurer, appeared and: inouired as to the will of the Council in the matter of issuing a license to the Lobby Smoke house and the Laurel Club. :Lt was moved and seconded that the xreas- urer be instructed to issue licenses upon tender of the usual license fee. iviotion carried. It was moved and seconded, that the rule of the council providing for the auditing of bills on the first meeting of each month, only be waived, as to tha bill of G. ri. vlikerl, for work on the intake, and that the Auditing committee audit such bill and make report at this session. Motion carried. -she auditing committee reported back reporting that they had audited said bill and recommended that the same be allowed. ivoved and seconded, that the report of the auditing committee be adopted and that the Clerk be instructed to draw warrant upon the proper fund in payment thereof. Motion carried. It was moved, adjourn to meet at the stall, Laurel, 1,iontana, at 8:009 o'clock p.m. erred the meeting adjoin and seconded, that the Council Council Chamber of the City on the 22nd. day of J-une, 1920 Motion carried.
