The Oity 'Council met in special; session in the Council i
Chamber of the City of Laurel, and-was called of order" at
8:15 o' elo olt 'bar Mayor Davis.
Aldermen present were Knudsen, vordahl Sausman ?
Hageman, Bundy and Morris. ?
The Mayor called for the minutes for the last regular
session and was informed by the Clerk that the minutes were
not `-prepared.
It was moved.and seconded that the council adjourn to
the. Store of the Laurel `'rading; Co. jdotion carried:

was read and was referred to the Committee on Ordinances.
After due deliberation the Committee reported back recommend-
ing its passage. It was moved and seconded th,.t the report
of the Committee be adopted and that unanimous consent and
vote of the Council be had to"piaoe Ordinance No. 21?, on
its immediate passage. Upon roll oall all Aldermen mooted
-ration made and seconded that Ordinance No. 213 be

passed and adopted. upon rclll call ail Aldermen voted-
"Aye" and the Ordinance was declared passed and adopted.
ORDINANCE NO. -214
Ordinance, No. 214, being an ordinanc4for the
receiving of bids and letting of contracts for the con-
struction oflimproveinents, in Special Improvement District
No. 37, was read and was referred to the. Committee on
Ordinances. After due deliberation the Committee reported
back recommending its passage. It was mooted and seconded,
that the report of the Oommittee be adopted and that unanimous
consent and vote of the Council be had to place Ordinance
.vo 214 on itt inLr edi ate passage. Upon roll call all
Aldermen voted "_Aye". Motion made and seconded, that
Ordinance !vo. 2142 be passed and adopted. upon roll call
all Aldermen voted 'Ae and the Ordinance was declared
passed and adopted.
It was moved and seconded that the iayor appoint
a comittee of two to confer with the County Lttorney
relative to complaints against the Lobby 6mohe House,
the i ayor ap?;ointed.
and the Laurel 01ub. ?,-otion carried
