Yl. September 6, 1921. Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: uO V1 5 ausman The minutes of the regular meeting_ o-rC Aug-List 16, 1921, and of the adjourned regular meeting of A-ag .st 29, 1921, were L read and approved. The following named businessmen appeared in protest on the new schedule of licenses under the provisions of the New Ordinances Mr, Budge, representing the pool hall, Mr. ; ice?zse Parker,, the barber shop, r. Braswell and Schwertley, the shoe - makers, Mr. Wallizer, the black smith, and =±r. Krone, "'he F'I'T -protests. It Mechanic" Upon motion made by Councilma- Vordahl, second- ed by Councilman San an, the coL:plaints were -referred to a future meeting until more complete study of the ordinances could be made. Motion carried. The 11a;76r instructed the com- plainants' that if the ordinances' were- unfair that an earnest , effort would be made to adjust them. The reports of the Police judge, Chief of 2oli.ce, OJ-ficers, Chief of Fare Department, , City Treasurer, the Water Commissioner and the City Clerk were read and approved regorts. motion was made by Councilman Vordahl, seconded by ?_tc7i?ion of Councilman Kenyon, that the Sprinkling Ralu-e be continued for L)pr ixi - the month of September. The motion carried. a: tas. RESOLUTION NO., 224. Resolution Do. 224, 'being a resolution levying and in^ assessing all the property embraced within Special Improvement Montana, viith passage of Light i District No. 2 of the City of ' Laurel , three-fourths (3) of the entire cost of maintenance and electric current for the year 1921, was presented for final liesoli?pion passage, The Clerk presented to the Council an: affidavit showing proper publication in the Laurel Outlook, and inform- 1L0, 224. ed the Council that no protests had been received. A motion was made by Alderman. Bundy, seconded by Aldexman Clar7- that final passage and -approval of this resolution be made at this time. Upon roll call all Aldermen present voted "Aye". There- upon, the ayor declared the resolution finally passed. RESOLUTION 110. 225.
