Vordahl Rich ardson Bundy Clark { I The minutes of the meeting of dune 27th were read and upon motion duly ;made, seconded and carried were approved. w„ The June reports of the Police Judge, Street Foreman and the June Chief of Police were 'and read and duly approved, repot us The Cle rk then read -a commu-n.icat ion * from' the Montana Iiunicipal League advising of the annual *eeting to be held this year it Anaconda onl acia September lst, 2nd and 3rd, outlining a tentative program and inviting the City of Laurel to join the said league and send La. delegate to the con- IvIunicipa.l ? ven ior. After extended discussion thereon by she Council.,; it was moved and seconded that the City of Laurel join the Municipal League and that League. a ,delegate be selected to attend the convention later on. Motion carried. Alderman Vordahl reported that he and the City :attorney had met with Mir. Price relative to the claim of Mrs. White and that air. Price had Mrs. ! agreed to accept the sum of $100*04 in full satisfaction of the claim and White 1 stated that Mr. Price authorized the Clerk, in the event of acceptance of Claire. this offer, to reduce the bill previously submitted to the amount of ? $100.00 and to issue warrant therefore. After due deliberation, it was' moved and seconded that the amount be allowed; that the Clerk correct: t bill of Firs White pursuant to the suggestions of her attorney and that a warrant be dram on the proper fund. Motion carried, Alderman Hageman arrived at this time and took part in the i further actions of the Council.` l a Bills filed for the month of June were- then presented to the Mayor who referred them to the. The Clerk was instructed to notify the City Treasurer to again :`:wider en.de4vor to collect all back licenses due the the City of Laurel from the Weider Rooming House and that in the event of further refusal to pay the license. same , the City Treasurer is to take action for the collection thereof as provided by ordinaa.ce Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Clerk was in- EYaploy s'tructed to notify the City Treas-arer to employ a, competent auditor to check up aud submit to the Council a complete report of the City's finan- auditor. 1 ci al coat it ion Moved and seconded that we now adjourn Motion carried.
