Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana
December 2, 1921.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special
session in the Council Chamber in the City Sall to consider the
injunction proceedings of G, E, Settergren and was called to
order by Mayor Frank Wright at'8-.00 2, Iii,*, December 2, 1921.
.Upon roll call,' the following Aldermen answered present:
Bundy
Clark
Hageman
Kenyon
Richardson
Sausmab 1
After a lengthy discussion of the different phases of
the tax levy and a. suitable co€rneit to assist the City attorney,
it was moved b Alderman-Ha eman and seconded by Alderman Bi-md
by g y y
that a committee be appointed to act with the Mayor to make ar-
rangements for the defense. The motion carried.
Aldermen Ha,geman and Kenyon were appointed to act on
this committee with the Mayor and the City Attorney, A. T Garvey.
It was suggested: that the firm of Nichols and Wilson be
employed, but the committee was empowered to use their discretion
in selecting one,
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjou-rn+ The
motion carried,
