The City Council of the City ,of Laurel met in Special
Session in the Council Chamber in the City mall anal was called
to order by Mayor Frank Wright at :8--00 11. 11., October 6, 1921.
U'po3l roll call, , the following Aldermen answered pre-
sent:

Clark
Kenyon -
Y.udsen
Riehards on
Attorney A. YI.,Gee, representing the Ohio Oil Company,
d Johnde adyen of Casper Wyoming, appeared before the Council
to discuss informally the granting of a franchise to said John
r , e adyen. Mr. Gee presented a skeleton ordinance in which the
provisions of the franchise were outlined. After a lengthy dis-
eussion of the different paragraphs and some slight alterations
therein, he uas assured that if a petition for franchise and or-
dinance thereto were presented in substantially the same form
that the Council would take favorable action. The City Attorney
was requested to cooperate with !& . Gee in-the drafting of the
ord:im- nee referred to, '
