The City Couneil of the City of Laurel met in-'regalar session in the Council Chamber of the City Hall and were called to order by X&yor Wright at 8 50 P. Mo At roll call the following Aldermen were present, Clark Richardson Hageman Knudsen Vordahl Bundy Kenyon Sausman The minutes of the meetings of ,May l7th and. 26th were, read 6 d upon motion duly made, seeo�eia ad-carriedri ''were approved.. The May reports 'of the Street Commissioner, Police Judge and Chief Reports ,. of Police were read anal approved upon mot ion duly made, seconded- and.'' carried. The Water Power and Sewer Committee reported that the contract, enter; ed .into between the City and Andy Cieslasky had been completed in accord.: once with the provisions of t he contract and recommeAded that the cou - Painta.ng tractor be paid according to the terms thereof, It was moved and:.seconded. wane r _ that the: report of the Comm.s ttee be approved; that the work ,o f the eon- trac for bre and,that and that the Clerk ,be instructed to draw ,a warrant, on the, Wlate s Fund. in the. sine of Two Hundred ( 204.00) Dollars in favor :©f;.the said contractor in pay*ent for the work. Motion carried. The Clerk then read a communication,, over the signature of W. 0 Selbrede-, Billings, M ntan:a, offering to sell the City lots for park, elb ode purposes and upon motion. ✓the same was ordered file.. Ai Bundy from the First Ward :was tendered to the Reslg. Council. It was moved and seconded that the matter be referred to the City Bundy- Attorney for an opinion as to the rights of the Council in the matter. Motion carried, Bills filed for the month of May were then presented to the Mayor who referred them to the Auditing Committee requesting an. audit and report at this meeting.
