The City Council of the City of Laurel, iviontana met in regularsession in the G©uncil Chamber of the City da7.1 and were called to ord- er by mayor Davis at 8:15 i}.M. At roll call the following Alderman were present: Morris Kenyon Knudsen Bundy V•ordahl Sausman iageman Minutes of the meetings held on 1darch 15th and 29th were read and on motion duly made,seconded and carried,were approved as read* lareh reports of the Chief of Poliee,Street Commissioner and the Reports Police Judge were read and approved. The Police Judge's final report together with his resignation to Police make effect immediately was read. It was' thereupon moved and seconded. Budge �e� n that the. same be accepted to take effect in thirty (30) day s. MotionMotion - g ation carried. 2lumbers bond of J.R. O'Brien was zee ad and upon the recommendation lumbers of the City. Att orney the same was approvedand accepted. Bond- A report jigned by a mojority of the Committee appointed for the -'ire purpose of assisting in the re-organization of the Laurel Fire l�epar.t- Departtent , f ment was read. Alderman Hag eman objecting to the provision relat-iye--te the salary allowance of the Pire Chief it was moved and seconded,--" mat the said report be tabled until the minority report of the dissenting Alderman be filed. Blot ion,carried Bills filed for the Month of :March were then presented to the March. Mayor who refered them to the Auditing Gommittee,requesting and audit and repor-t at this meeting,, .After due deliberation the said Committee ells reported 'back recommending' -payment of the following bills.
