The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by Mayor Frank Wright at 8:00 P. M., April 17, 1923.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered
present;
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn,
he motion carried.

The minutes of the regular meeting of April 3rd and
special meeting of April 9th were read and approved.
The reports of the City Treasurer and Water Commis-
sioner were read and approved.
A petition for water and sewer main extensions, filed
by Mrs. M. J. Claflin, was presented and read. It was moved
and seconded that the petition be referred back to her to ob-
t4in 50% of the property holders represented. The motion
carr ied,
