Laurel, Montana,
April 91 1923.
The City Council of the City. of Laurel met in special
session in the Council Chamber to review the returns of the
election of April 29 1923, and was called to order by Mayor
Frank Wright at 8:00 P. M., April 9, 1923.
Upon roll call the following Aldermen answered
present

Clark
Hageman
Richardson
The Mayor appointed as tellers Clark, Hageman and
Richardson. After reviewing the returns,':the committee reported'
back the following votes:
H. A.,Carlisle,for Mayor 329 votes
Wyman X. Sausman, for mayor 247 ?
R. E. Coy, Alderman First Ward 69

Turner H. Early, for City Treasurer 301

It was moved by Vordahl and seconded by Richardson that the
report of the Committee be adopted and that the officers be
declared elected as follows:
H. A. Carlisle, Mayor.
Turner H. Early, City Treasurer.
George R. bonne, Police Judge.
R. E. Coy, Alderman First. Ward.
G. W. Fenton, Alderman Second Ward.
Charles E. Perry, Alderman Third Ward.
J. F. Nicola, Alderman Fourth Ward.
The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the Ailayor appoint
a committee of three to co-operate with the Treasurer, City
Attorney and,:tCity Clerk at drafting the annual appropriation
ordinan:cO for the fiscal year 1923, The motion carried.

Thereupon the Mayor appointed Hageman, Wold and Knudsen.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.
The motion carried.
