Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
April 39 1923.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber and was called to order by Mayor
Frank-Wright at 8.00 P. M. April 32 1923.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered
present

The minutes of March 20th were read and approved.
The bills for the month of March were referred to
the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the Commit-
tee reported back recommending the payment of the following
bills:

It was moved and seconde d that the report of the Commi ttee be
adopted and that the Cle rk be instructed to draw warra nts upon
the proper funds in payment of the bills allowed, The motion
carried.
Ordinance No. 262 was presented for final passage.
It was moved by Knudsen and seconded by Vordahl that s aid
ordinance be tabled. The motio n carried.

Ordinance No. 263 was presented for final passage.
It was moved by Price and seconded by Hagezman that said
ordinance be tabled. The motion carried.
Mr. Frank Wright requested that permission be granted
to him to construct a frame dance hell on Lot 8, Block 13,
Laurel Realty Second Subdivision. It was moved by Vordahl and
seconded by Hageman that the building inspector be-authorized
to grant building permit for said building. The motion carried.
After some discussion in regard to the charge for
hydrants and sewers, it was moved. and seconded that the Water
Commissioner discontinue the charge until required to do so by
the Public Service Commission, The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn, The
motion carried.
