Laurel, Montana,
December 26, 1924.
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in speeial
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall for the consideration
of remodeling store building and the letting of contract for
ice from settling basin and was called to order by Mayor H, A.
Carlisle at 8-00 of clock P, M. December 26, 1924.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:
Coy
Wold
Perry
Chamberlin
Porter
Graves
Gum
A petition from J. H. Budge for permission to make an
4xtension on the store west of Heinz Drug Store was presented
and read, After some. discussion, it was moved by Coy and
seconded by Chamberlin that the permit be rejected. The motion
carried.
After some discuss ion, of the ice problem,, it was
moved by Wold and seconded by Perry that the Mayor and Water
Commissioner be empowered to-sell the ice to Mr. Jackson of
arrangements could be satisfactorily made. The motion carried.
It was mowed and seeondbd that we do now adjourn..
The motion carried.
