Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
Laurel, Montana,
October 28, 19240
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in adjourned
regular session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was
called to order by Mayor H. A. Carlisle at @,00 o'clock P. M.
October 28, 1924.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered
present;
Porter
Gum
Perry
Nicola
Graves
The minutes of October 7th were read and approved,
Estimate No. 2 and Final for J. J. Burley, contractor
in Special Improvement District No, 62, 'dater, in the amount of
$4603969, less amount of Estimate loo: 1 for $2200.00, making the
amount of this estimate $2403.69, was presented and read. It
wa' s moved by Perry and seconded by Nicola that the estimate be
approved and the City Officers directed to issued bonds in the
amount of 41300.00 and pay in cash $1303.69 from 1923 Water
Works, Series A, Fund, The motion carried.
A bill for 4133.52 of J. J. Burley for pipe and
other materials furnished to the City was presented, The
Mayor appointed tad, E. Porter to serve on the Finance Committee
and thereupon the Committee approved the bill. It was moved
and seconded that the report of the committee be adgpted and
that the rules be suspended and that the Mayor and City
Clerk be authorized to issue warrant in the amount of x°'133.62.
The motion carried,
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn. The
motion carried.
