The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called t-m order by Mayer H. A. Carlisle at 8 OQ of a oek P M , September 2, 1924, Upoil roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Weld Gnm Graves Porter Coy The minutes of August 5th, August 39th and August 27th were read and approved, p1 rt The reports of the Chief of Police, Police Jndg6, City Treasurer and Water Commissioner were read and approved, The bills f or the month of July were refer red to the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee reported back recommending that the following bills be paid and that warrants be drawn upon the proper funds in payment thereof: John H. R. Lorne 33#32 It was moved and seconded that the report of the coittee be adopted and that the warrants be issued in the manner recommended by the committee. The motion carried.
