The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called
t-m order by Mayer H. A. Carlisle at 8 OQ of a oek P M , September

The minutes of August 5th, August 39th and August 27th
were read and approved,

City Treasurer and Water Commissioner were read and approved,
The bills f or the month of July were refer red to
the Finance Committee and after due deliberation, the committee
reported back recommending that the following bills be paid
and that warrants be drawn upon the proper funds in payment
thereof:

The Committee further reported approval of the following bills
with the recommendation that the same be conditionally allowed
and the Clerk be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper
funds in payment thereof as soon as sufficient funds are avail-
able for payment thereof, but not otherwise;

It was moved and seconded that the report of the coittee be
adopted and that the warrants be issued in the manner recommended
by the committee. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.. The
motion carried.
