The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to
order by Mayor H, A. Carlisle at 8-#00 o'clock Po L I. August 19
1924,
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;

There not being a quorum present, it was moved and
seconded that we do now adjourn until Wednesday August 27th
at which time all business proper for consideration at this
meeting would be handled. The motion carried,
