Y the City Council to canvass the returns of an election, the City Council met in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to 6rder by Mayor H. A. Carlise at 8:00 o'clock P. M. April 14, 1924. Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present! Coy Gum Hageman Perm Mold Nicola The Mayer appointed a committee consisting of C®y, Gum and Hageman to eanvass the returns. After reviewing the returns the Committee re ps rte d back the following votes ?. E. Porter, Alderman First Ward 88 votes Paul Bro haugh, 31 Walter Libecap, ` Seeofid 40 Q. M. Britton, n it If 1 George Graves, Fourth n 58 Peter Knudsen, n tr Nick Niekolson, [t it Mutilated Z It was moved and seconded that the report of the comn ttee be adopted and that the officers be declared elected as follows: W. 3, Porter, Alderman First ward.. Walter Libeeap, Alderman. Second lard. 0. M.. Wold, Alderman Third Ward, Georga Graves, Alderman Fourth Ward. The motion carried. Thereupon, the Clerk was instructed to issue eertificates of election to each off, ieer so elected. The Clerk stated that the Northern Paaifie had made a verbal request for an offer from the City to combine the City and Northern. Pacific pumpingdby stations,. After 4ome discussion, it was moved by Coy and secondGum that the matter be referred to the Water Committee for their recommendation.
