Laurel, Montana,
Dec. 15, 1925,
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to
order by Mayor H. C. Knudsen at 8;00 dP)alock P. M.I. December 15,
1925.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;
Gum
Chamberlin.
Graves
Perry
Hartley
Coy
The minutes of December 1, 1925, were -read and approved.
The City Treasurer appeared before the City Council and
stated that the Security Trust and Savings Bank had requested that
it be designated as a City depository and presented telegram show-
ing that Liberty Bonds in the amount of $20,000.00 had been pur-
chased for security and that trust receipt for same would be mailed.
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that the Security Trust
and Savings Bank be designated as a City depository and that the
Treasurer be authorized to deposit City Funds in the Security Trust
and Savings Bank upon receipt of the trust receipt for said bonds.
The motion carried.
The Finance Committee stated that they had recommendations-
on all licenses and would have ordinances presented at a later
meeting of the City Council.
It was moved and seconded that the City Treasurer be
authorized to settle with the Second Hand Store at 05.00 per
quarter pending passage of the proper ordinance. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn. The
motion carried.
