Laurel, Montana,
December 1, 1925,
The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to
order by Mayor H. C. Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. MO. December 1, 1925.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:
Coy
Gum
Graves
Perry
Hartley
The minutes of November 17, 1925, were lead and approved.
The reports of the Chief of Police, Police Judge, City
Treasurer and Water Commissioner were read and approved.
Mr. Wold and hir Porter arrived and participated in the
j further business of the Council.
The Finance Committee, which had been requested to make
recommendations on license ordinances, requested further time, which
was granted,
The Mayor stated that the services of 0. C. Cooper as
police had been discontinued and that Vim. Fly was now serving.
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Hartley that his actions be
approved. The motion carried.
The bills f or the month of November were referred to
the Finance Committee. After= due delzhe:rat on . the committee
reported back recommending the payment of the following bills:

The Committee reported approval of the following bills with the
recommendation that same be co nditionally allowed and the Clerk
be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment
thereof as soon as sufficient funds are available for payment
thereof, but not otherwise:

It was moved and seconded that the report of the committee be
adopted and that warrants be issued in the manner recommended
by the committee. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that the bills of 0. C. Cooper of 01
$3.25, 0. C. Cooper of X100,00, Vft. Fly 85.00, Vim. Fly of 430,50,
Laurel Auto Supply Co. of Q33.50 be paid out of the Operating
Fund. The motion carried.
A receipt, tendered by the LZidlana idational Bank for
$20,000,00 Treasurer Certificates, was presented and read. It
was moved and seconded that this form of bond be rejected. The
motion carried.

After some discussion of the outlet from the Sewer Filter
Bed, it was moved by Coy and seconded by Perry that the City Engineer
be instructed to purchase valve and pipe for a new outlet from the
basin. The motion carried.
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn. The
motion carried.
