The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular session in the Council Chamber and was called to order by Mayor H. 0, Knudsen at 8:00 o'clock P. M, November 17, 1925, upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present: Chamberlin Gum 7do ld Perry Graves Hart le y The minutes of November 3rd were read and approved, The reply from the Mate Examiner in regard to the in- vestment of sinking funds was read. After some discussion, it was moved by Wold and seconded by Perry that the City Treasurer be requested to submit to the State Examiner a statement covered by the particulars in circular letter #42 sent out from his office. The motion carried. The City Treasurer reported that the Montana National Bank had asked that a part of the funds be deposited with them. After some discussion, it was moved by Wold and seconded by. Perry that the Montana National Bank be designated as a depository for City funds. The motion carried. G. E. Bray, ri. J. Williams and Mr, Berosek appeared before the City Council in regard to license imposed on them. After some discussion, the Mayor requested the Finance Committee to meet with the City Treasurer and City Attorney to make recommendations at the next regular meting of the City Council. The bill of the 11ountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company of $9.95 for the month of October was presented. It was moved by Viold and seconded by Perry that the bill be approved. The motion carried. The report of the Water Commissioner for the month of September was read and approved. r It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn.
