The City Council of the City of Laurel met in special
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called
to order by Mayor H, C. Knudsen at 1:00 o'clock P, L1, June 5, 19250
-06n roll call, the following Aldermen answered present:
Chamberlin
Wo ld
Gum
Porter
Graves
The contract with J. J. Burley for the construction of
improvements in Special Improvement District No, 63 was presented
and read. It was moved by (fold and seconded by Graves that the
action of the Mayor and City Clerk in signing the contract be
approved. The motion carried.

A bond of gS.OUC,00, signed by the National Surety
f Company and J. J. Burley for the construction of improvements in
Special Improvement District No. 63, was presented and read.
It was moved by Graves and seconded by Porter that the bond be
approved. The motion carried.
It was moved by Wold and seconded by Graves that the
certified check, covering bids of J. J, Burley in Special Im-
provement District No. 63 be returned to him. The motion carried,
It was moved and seconded that me do now adjourn.. The
motion carried,
