Minutes of the City Council of Laurel

April 212 1925.
T The City Council of the City of Laurel met in regular
session in the Council Chamber in the City Hall and was called to
order by YGiayor H. A. Carlisle at 8:00 b1 clock B. IVT. April 219, 1925.
Upon roll call, the following Aldermen answered present;
Coy
Gum
Chamberlin
Graves

The minutes of April 'Zth and April 13th were read and
approved.

This being the-- time set for receiving bids for the
hauling of garbage, the Mayor instructed the Clerk to open and
read the bids submitted which were as follows;
VIM. Fly ??225.00
0. 0. Bundy 0400.00
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Gum that the contract be
awarded to _Fly. The motion carried.
.i5SOLUTION .130. 317.
Resolution No, 317, being a resolution directing and
ordering the construction of a sidewalk on the north side of
Block 111 Laurel Realty Subdivision, was presented and read.
It was moved by Coy and seconded by Graves that said resolution
be declared passed and adopted. The motion carried.
ORBI14ALCE NO. 281.

Ordinance No. 281, being an ordinance providing for
the receiving of bids ih Special Improvement District No. 63,
was presented and read. After some discussion, it was refered
to a ca mittee consisting of Coy, Guip and Chamberlin. After due
deliberation, the committee reported back recommending its
immediate passage. It was moved and seconded that the report
of the committee be. adopted and that the unanimous consent and
vote of the Council be had to place Ordinance 1vo. 281 upon its
immediate passage. Upon roll call, all Aldermen present voted
aye. It was moved by Graves and seconded by Chamberlin that
said Ordinance No. 281 be passed and adopted. Upon roll Ball,
all aldermen present voted aye and said ordinance was declared
passed and adopted,
It was moved and seconded that we do now adjourn. The
motion carried.
